The humble garbanzo bean (or chickpea) honestly doesn’t get enough credit in my opinion. Think of everything you can make with it?! Not to mention the aquafaba you get if you used canned. (Aquafaba is the liquid leftover in the can. It can be used as “egg whites”.) I know hummus is what most people make out of garbanzo beans, but it can get mighty boring.. The same flavors, same consistency, just sameness…
Luckily I disklike boring, and that makes me think! 😉 And that is where this lovely dip was born.
Feel free to blend this as much, or a little as you like. I like mine a bit chunky, but if you want it smoother, just add a bit more liquid to your blender.

- 1 can garbanzo beans (drained)
- 3T. pumpkin puree
- 1t. cumin
- 1t. cinnamon
- ½t. nutmeg
- ½t. onion powder
- ½t. garlic powder
- Blend all of the ingredients in a Food Processor or a Vitamix till reached consistency.
